“Few things can give me the sense of value, accomplishment, and pleasure I get from helping others learn, grow, and develop in ways that enable them to realize more success and happiness in their lives.” So says David Wendkos, who’s extensive backgrounds in sales and in coaching and instruction give him the experience and skills to realize his goals of helping people discover the unlimited capacity we each possess, and then assisting them in actualizing that potential.
David got his first job, washing cars at an automobile dealership, when he was 13 years old. In the years that followed, as David worked his way through school, he maintained different jobs in the retail auto industry. David graduated from Emory University, in Atlanta, GA, with a BA in Economics, and then went to work full-time in the car business. Even as he rose through the ranks, holding virtually every position possible within a dealership, David found time to attend classes at Drexel University in pursuit of an MBA. Always ambitious, it wasn’t long before David purchased his own dealership – a Hyundai franchise in Annapolis, Maryland. Under David’s oversight, the store set records for sales volume, customer satisfaction scores, and gross profit margins. After operating the business for several years, David decided to sell it and explore other opportunities. Since then, David has successfully owned and operated two landscape and architectural lighting franchises as well as a private swim coaching business. He has also taught mathematics to middle and high school aged students, and served in both assistant and head coaching roles for USA Swimming club teams. It was while coaching and teaching that David discovered his passion for helping others to grow and succeed.
A competitive swimmer since the age of six, including four years at the NCAA level, David remains active, both in masters swimming and as a competitive triathlete. Several years after graduating college, David took on a part time job as a swim coach, and fell in love with it. A natural at the job, David has coached swimmers and triathletes of all ages, from younger than six to over sixty. Consistently, his athletes saw improvement and success beyond their expectations - from legally finishing an individual medley for the first time to Olympic Trials qualifications, from completing a first triathlon to placing in the top five in their age group at Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
During his ownership of the landscape and architectural lighting companies, David was introduced to the Sandler Selling System. He explains, “I understood it would take quite a while to learn Sandler and make it mine, but it took less than an hour to see it was far superior to anything I’d learned before. It’s more than just a way of selling more, it’s a way of working more successfully with others in every facet of life.” Now, by utilizing the experience, knowledge, and abilities David gained from his sales and coaching backgrounds, he helps the clients of Rhinodigm improve their processes, achieve and even surpass their goals, and realize new levels of potential and pleasure within their businesses and within their lives
The Sandler library of books includes two Amazon and Wall Street Journal best sellers, as well as the best-selling sales classic for any sales book ever.
